terminal services mode setup (server 2003)
- start - run > type in "appwiz.cpl" and click on OK to open "Add or Remove Programs"
- on the left hand side click on "add/remove windows components"
- you should now be at the "windows components wizard" screen
- Next, you will be prompted with some terminal server licensing information, etc click on "next" to continue.
- Now its time to determine the default permission for application compatibility, this can be changed at any time select either "full security" or "relaxed security" and click on "next" to continue
- In the following you will prompted to add your terminal server license information.
- if you have already have a license server, key them in at the first radial and select check names
- if you its possible to discover your license servers use the second option
- for this document, we are going to specify a license server within 120 days and add the information later.

- Licensing mode options:
- depending on your CALs select one of the following two options
- per device licensing mode
- per user licensing mode
- for this test, we are going to select "per user licensing mode"

- Make your selection and click on "next" to proceed.
- After the components are successfully installed, click on "Finish" to complete the Terminal Server mode component update.
- Reboot!
